Calling yourself a musician means something different for everybody. There is no one-size fits all category. I wanted to be onstage in front of people and it didn’t matter if I was playing flute in an orchestra or playing synthesizer in a 90s cover band. The path was not straightforward and I’m a more well-rounded musician because of it. I take great pride in all of my musical endeavors and never show up to a gig unprepared.
